The other day I was looking at my business action list for the rest of this year.
As I reviewed things I felt myself get excited but then anxious trying to figure out how I would get everything completed.
For what seemed like hours I fixated on the details, lack of resources, all the other things I needed to accomplish the goals.
Then this one thought squeezed through the other voices and said: “Change your focus.”
WOW!!
Change my focus!
It took me a few more minutes to get my mind right but that is exactly what I did.
After breathing and recentering myself, I released all the negative anxiety.
Once I had oxygen coming back into my body again I was able to think sober.
Of course, I can do this!
Yes, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Time was on my side and I was going to use it wisely.
No one said I had to get all of it done that same week, but that was how I perceived it.
My new strategy was to do things little by little instead of trying to make big steps towards meeting my goals.
Being able to breathe, have a plan, a clear focus I was in my happy place.
For me creating and producing is best done when I am flowing freely as myself.
If you are like me, you can get so much accomplished when you are open-minded and flexible.
That moment was not new to me, I have been overwhelmed before, I just needed to be reminded that life is always teaching me a lesson.
The lesson was about me facing the possibility of what could happen if I believed for the right outcome rather than panicking and allowing feelings of negativity to guide me.
Today on your journey what are you facing that wants you to believe you can’t do it, or it appears impossible?
My hope for you is simple, that you will breathe, and recall all the impossible things you have done before.
Happy Monday:)
