Lately I have been mediating on forgiving others.
There are numerous books written about this topic, forgiveness.

In my quiet time, I really looked into the depth of letting things go.
Letting go of hurts, offense, betrayal, rejection is key to living a healthy life.
Here goes my take on it.
If I live by this principle of forgiving, I keep my heart free to enjoy my tomorrow.
Holding on to what they did or did not do keeps us hostage to the moment.
Let them go!
Forgiveness is always about you.
Your health.
Your peace.
Your joy.
Your future.
If another person is given the power to keep you in one place because of pain, you are always losing.
Forgiveness has more benefits than most of us realize.
One major benefit of forgiving is the ability to feel what was done, but not allow it to rob you any more.
Another benefit of forgiving is being able to live in the present moment, not the past.
One more benefit is your health begins to improve.
Holding on to bitterness and resentment will make us sick.
Releasing toxic feelings opens us up to process correctly and take your power back.
You may never forget the event, but you certainly can use it to grow, and help others.
Believe it or not, it is easier to forgive than not to forgive.
One feels like you are carrying weights that are a threat to your life, the other feels like you took all the weights off.
We all have the same choice each day.
Either hold on to what has already happened, or choose to let go and begin to rebuild your life.
Forgiveness is a key to your freedom.
