Just Appetizers

Seven is a great number.

Seven means completion.

For me seven represents my tribe.

I am a mother of seven young adults.

Now that they are grown..still growing 🙂

Taking moments to reflect, I see that you must be intentional on parenting.

Being responsible for 8 people (including hubby) every day stretches you.

When I see my stretch marks I giggle, its like looking at a map of my life.

You may be telling yourself what you can not do, because the stretch is so painful.

Let me encourage you in this blog.

The pain is real, but so is the purpose in your life.

If you make it non negotiable about finishing you will not quit.

Having a baby that changes your body, demands how you eat, and sleep, was challenging.

Not being able to do what you want because your goals and dreams are demanding more is uncomfortable.

Being uncomfortable does not have to be negative if you focus on what is about to happen.

Preparing for each one of my children made me nervous, excited, and at times fearful.

We all ask those questions.

“Can I really do this?”

What I found out is this; we are asking the wrong question.

I started asking myself, have you prepared for the shift, sacrifices and self giving it requires?

What about you?

Have you been preparing, or just totally focused on the pain?

If you fail to prepare, you really do prepare to fail.

Begin to rethink how you are envisioning things.

Use your time to create plans, strategies, build connections and get a great support team.

Become excited about what is to take place.

Each time I had another baby, I discovered inside of me was a blue print.

This blue print illuminated strengths I did not know was there.

Those seven babies were destined to teach me about purpose.

My seven exposed me to producing even when I wanted to quit.

Without the right pressure we never know what is really inside of us.

Closing this blog, I want to challenge you to stop repeating words of death.

Open your mouth and speak life to yourself.

Inside of you is a blue print that will showcase the amazing person you are.
