Abandon it

Abandon is defined as ceasing from maintaining or practicing or use of.

In simple terms, abandon means to quit, desert or forsake.

Why am I writing about this topic in my blog, you may be wondering.

Here are my thoughts and I hope it helps one person.

There are so many things that I want to accomplish.

Goals are set.

I am reaching my  goals slower than I want.

It is time to face a few things.

There has to be a willingness on my part to walk away from certain things to obtain what I set out to do.

Without the determination to forsake certain pleasures, people, and things I will only achieve a portion my goals.

Not sure about you, but I can not end this year with half my goals completed.

Only being honest with myself about how I manage me daily will bring change.

This Monday morning, my mind is clear on decisions that I need to make.

Being able to produce at this next level means putting my attention on the right things.

Setting goals is one thing.

Finishing is another.

As this month of August comes to a close, so will many other things in my life.

It is with great anticipation that I share my thoughts on today.

I will complete what has been set for this year.

No excuses.

No sad stories.

Getting out of my own way!
