Quick Sand

Regrets can lead us down a path of darkness and despair.

Perhaps wrong decisions were made, so the results were awful.

Then we have things in life we wished we did differently.

Let’s not forget our self sabotage because of wrong thinking.

Each thing on the list of regret creates a heavy chain that pulls you down a hole of despair.

One more wrong thought and life becomes quick sand where all hope and dreams die.

You must be intentional to guard your heart from clouds of sadness which leads to depression.

It does not matter what age you are, that pit of sadness tries to bury you alive.

Taking action is key when life wants to be a sink hole.

Begin to write your thoughts on paper so they are not in your head.

Find a person or group to communicate with about your inner conflict.

Whatever you do, isolation is not an option.

Own the mistakes, and wrong decisions but do not become a victim.

Make it mandatory not to feel sorry for yourself.

Use your energy to grow and improve your life.

Do not keep people in your close circle who only remind you of the things you failed at.

Reality is this, you are not the only one in this world to have experienced what you have gone through.

Use your story to encourage and impact another life.

See yourself no longer being pulled down by your past but rather stepping into new things.

Your past is your past.

Focus on your present life and the future.

Remind yourself daily that you have the power to make the next chapter of your life great.

Today is your moment to take action.

Make your list of things you want to accomplish.

Only look back to remind yourself of what you lived through!
