Block

Today I have writers block.

After being on a roll for about 23 days, I am at a block.

My commitment requires me to write so that is what I am doing.

I have respect for all authors.

Just the feeling of having nothing creative to write makes you uncomfortable.

Sitting here with my eyes closed hoping to hear some thing profound.

Unfortunately I heard nothing.

Please accept my apologies now if you are bored with this blog.

Instead of missing a day, or making excuses I decided to stay committed.

Daily I tell myself that I am responsible, dependable, and committed.

Not sure how you motivate yourself but speaking to myself is how I do it.

It is not good enough to speak to yourself, you must speak the right words.

Too many times we say how we are feeling, which may make matters worse.

Growing up my mom taught me to never dress the way you feel.

To add to what my mom taught me, I also say do not repeat the negative things you hear.

Rather say the opposite.

Speak those things that you want to happen.

Speak those things that are not as if they were.

You and I may wake up feeling heavy, but we do not have to end the day that way.

We certainly have within our power the ability to command our day.

No we can not command others to change, but we can certainly respond correctly.

Look at me, I responded to my writers block with commitment.

Instead of walking away I just started typing, hoping something will flow.

Right now I am excited because just that quick I learned a lesson.

You may not always feel it, but you should move towards the destination or goal any way.

Tired or disappointed, keep on moving in the right direction.

There is always someone on the other end of the action you take.

Some one who needs what you have.

Many times we may not feel we are impacting anyone, but we often are.

Just doing this blog, at times I wonder who is out there reading it anyway.

Then on the other side of my movement, someone shares  that my blog impacts them.

What has you in a place of blank?

Has life’s issues created a fog that makes it hard to see your vision?

Did you give in to your feelings?

Reconsider that you are the answer to another persons question.

Perhaps your courage to stay committed is fueling them to do the same.

There will be days where you start off strong.

There will be days where you must recall your commitment and keep moving.

There will be days that you come up blank, but still must find inspiration to finish.

Today I started with a mind block.

As soon as I began to type, some thing began to shift.

Do not allow yourself to be stuck in a small moment.
