Minute by minute

We have all heard that time is a gift.

This gift called time should not be wasted but it still is.

I was sitting with my mom, Cousin and her fiancé at breakfast, thinking how precious this moment is.

With my mom living in Canada it’s not a regular thing for me to have breakfast with her.

As I sat there, my mind began to take snap shots of the moment.

Not sure how your life has been but I will admit I have wasted time.

Not being able to go back and recover the lost of those hours and minutes have made me more sober today than yesterday.

Perhaps we really do take for granted that we will have another day.

Even if we get another day will we choose to use it wisely?

As I sit in this parking lot writing, I’m concerned of how much time is really left in life.

Why wait another minute to reach out to the people you love?

Is it really necessary to plan all visits hoping time is on our side?

The real solution to being a better time manager is make time a top priority.

Why not act when we are thinking of others.

Rather than wait until we see them to share how they had been on our mind.

Become more aware of how you treat time and others.

Yes we are all busy, but are we building relationships in our active life.

Stop long enough to refocus on who and what is really important.

Our days are really seconds that tick away without our permission.

The instant you think about someone take a minute and let them know how important they really are.

Your life can either be impacted minute by minute; or wasted minute by minute.

No matter what we say to ourself, the choice is always ours.

What will you change in this year to secure that time is not wasted?

Whatever your goals are this year, make sure you give time for self-care.

Let us agree that this gift called time is priceless and be intentional in using it wisely.
