We learn in different ways.
There are 4 different types of learners: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic.

In order for us to learn we must identify our type.
Being a mother of seven I had to study how each child learns.
It is challenging to teach someone when you do not understand their type.
Most of us are guilty of teaching from our type of learning, but we must be open.
When you prepare to teach anything, your main focus should be your student acquiring the information and understanding it.
Some people including myself can watch a video, and instantly grasp what is being said.
Others can learn quickly if the lesson is in a song form, repeated, or talking out loud to what is heard.
To teach me anything in life, you must reach me.
In order to reach me, you must understand me.
Once you understand my type, you will discover a great student who soars.
Do not give up, nor become discouraged if you are the student trying to get what is being taught.
Perhaps you may need to share with others how you learn.
Let them know to teach me, visual.

Teach me kinesthetic.

Teach me auditory.

Teach me reading/writing.
