Some times the most challenging and rewarding place is in the middle of where you are going and how far we have come. We can look back and see the distance of how much we have accomplished. Then we look forward and it’s still a bit hard to see the final destination. Most of us stand idle trying to decide, is it worth it? We wonder privately to ourself if we have what it takes to keep moving. The answer is “YES” to those questions.
The middle is an indication that you were able to overcome obstacles, failures, mind sets and set backs. Now that you have come this far use the tools you acquired in the journey to keep pressing forward. There were times you did have the expected outcome, but you kept going. This tool is called perseverance. At times you had little to no support but you pressed on. The next tool to use is courage. Courage gives you the ability to not just move in the face of fear but to move alone as well. You may have cried many times getting to the middle but you would not stop. You have learned that crying is not a weakness but a heathy moment. Crying releases emotional baggage stored up in our hearts and minds. Once the crying stops we able to breathe better and think clearer.
This middle place is to be celebrated for past accomplishments. Once the celebration is over we must now reboot for the journey ahead. Can you do it, is not the question today. The question is, “how will you celebrate once you reached the destination?”
