Growing

Being an entrepreneur means working loads of learning and wearing different hats.

The trend lately has been about making a certain amount of money each month. We all want increase! But how do we get it?

Lately I have been revising my businesses and refocusing on my core values. I don’t hear much about that on the YouTube Channels I have watched this year.

As a business owner how I grow my business mattes to me for several different reasons which I will share with you today.

Let’s start by defining growth, which means physical increase, extension or maturity.

How we grow is important as much as how much money we make. If we increase in revenue without integrity we may be tempted to compromise certain things in our business.

Here are some non-negotiables when growing your business

  1. Always add value to others. You started a business as a solution to problem, but that includes people. Be good to those you serve.
  2. Be clear about your WHY and stick to it. You can not grow your business following other models and imitating what others deem success.
  3. Treat others as you want to be treated. Customers have choices where they do business so don’t take anyone for granted.
  4. Build steady, and according to your vision. This is not a race to the top.
  5. Seek legal counsel for contracts and other things to protect yourself. Why pretend you know the law when you don’t.
  6. Invest in an accountant or accounting software that keeps you on track with your money (especially if you have a huge revenue increase)
  7. Provide excellence in all you do. Your name is important.

What are some things you have in place for business growth?
