Saying good-bye can be emotional at times. However in this season there has been numerous good-byes to places, people and things.
Having to create new routines, adjust to new norms and assess what we give our energy to has required a new mindset.
Letting go has become unchallenging for me since this year began.
We must awaken to the agony caused when we try to recreate or hold on to things that are discontinued in our world. Now is the moment to focus on what we have.
The past is our experience, and part of of our history.
Although we know how quickly things change without warning this year has really made a concrete pathway in my mind to live in this truth.
In June, I plan to take all the lessons learned and apply them to continue growing. There will be more intentional meaningful moments and conversations.
June will be a continuation of gratefulness for me as I celebrate the small things I easily took for granted. My days will be spent loving, laughing, releasing, enriching others, and learning how to live a more simplistic life.
On this first day in June, I open my heart and mind to the possibilities that are set before me and say “Welcome!”
What will you do with this month called June?
Happy Monday:)
