Here are seven reasons why once a week we all need to unplug
- We need rest: a break from thinking and making major decisions.
- Time to recharge
- Increase our health
- Decrease in stress levels
- Time to check in with ourselves and our emotional temperature
- Reminder of what fun looks like
- Catch up on much needed sleep
Action Steps
- Make a plan, and pick a day that is all about wellness and you.
- Keep your scheduled day if you made one
- Make your wellness a non negotiable
- Practice saying NO
- Turn off all Technology
- Release, restore, replenish
- No guilt talk
- Enjoy the freedom
- Repeat often
