The past week my routine has shifted so my blogging has changed as well.
I love blogging and sharing here on Just Appetizers and hearing back from you amazing people.
With everything that we are experiencing with COVID-19, it is important to continue with self-care and mental wellness as top priorities.
This is a check-in and check-up post for everyone working from home, unemployed, out on the front line, homeschooling, leading and trying to keep it together.
Like most of you, I am taking each day as it comes and planning to stay mentally well in the midst of this global pandemic.
Let me share a few things I put in place to keep my stress level low and stay calm.
- Stop watching media: Stay informed but manage the amount of news I listen to and what I read.
- Guard my mind against going down dead ends that lead to crazy thinking and anxiety.
- Create a routine that fits into my now moment, rather than trying to force what use to work before.
- Staying connected to family and friends.
- Doing something that is fun, relaxing and includes laughter.
- PRAY a lot!
- Get dressed, put on lipstick and a good attitude:)
How are you doing?
Have you created a checklist for dealing with this unfamiliar moment taking place in history called COVID-19?
Share in the comments one thing on your checklist.
Stay Safe.
Stay Home.
Stay Well.
