Personal Refreshments

Happy Monday to the amazing people doing life!

It is the first official Monday of 2020 and there are loads of things going on in everyone’s world.

Before you overwhelm yourself today, make sure to add some small refresh times.

The moments I am referring to as refresh is really doing what keeps you grounded and relax.

Let me share a few of my own personal refreshments

  • Move away from your workspace and look outside for a few moments and think of one pleasant thing that took place over the past 48 hours.
  • Text or call someone you have on your mind just to check in and invest in the relationship (it doesn’t have to be a long conversation)
  • Walk outside if the day allows or walk around in your work area.
  • Read a page from your favorite book and reflect
  • Sip your favorite beverage and think about nothing
  • Get in your car and scream to release stress (no need to hold it in or attack someone  because you are tensed)
  • Talk to yourself real nice, say kind words about you to you (this rids our minds of excess negativity that may want to creep in
  • Take a short nap if you have the time to do so
  • Listen to music that makes you happy
  • Dance around (if you have the privacy go for it)

Today really is what you make it, so make it GREAT!!

Serve yourself small breaks that will refuel, revive and restore you throughout the day
