Detox is defined as abstaining from any toxic or unhealthy substances in the body.
A major detail about toxins is the impurities are found in the blood.
Everyone should do a physical detox at least three times a year.
Today I am referring to a mental elimination.
Basically scheduling a time to process things you may have rushed past in this year or even past years.
When we ignore certain experiences we encounter and play it down to not being significant, there is a risk of it coming back and hindering our progress.
An example could be losing your job, but you became busy trying to find a new one, then once hired learning new processes and people.
Just because you are employed again does not reflect a closure on what took place in your emotions or psyche.
Some professional help may be required to achieve your goal of detoxing the mind.
However, you can create a plan that begins with setting time aside to meditate or write in a journal.
Unplug from the outside world by turning off digital devices for an hour a day.
Let me share how your whole being improves when you get a full understanding of what you have encountered.
- The ability to live in the present enjoy the moment.
- More balanced and peaceful.
- Better work-life balance.
- Reduce stress, rest and rejuvenate from sleep.
- Stronger immune system.
The journey to now has been jammed with an overflow of everything, invest in yourself by taking this occasion to release.
Happy Tuesday!
