Last month of the year, the first Monday of the month.
We have experienced 336 days already with diverse moments, some forgotten while others we will hold on to.
Usually, around this day numerous thoughts of ending the year, or plans for the new begin to fill our minds.
There are conversations, blog posts, quotes, jokes, media reviews and stories shared about the year 2019.
For me, this year-end has become more serious because it also includes a decade closing out.
The past ten years have compact memories and significant milestones for our family.
Our children grew up and outgrown our home to make a life of their own.
My husband and I had 5 high school graduations, 5 college graduates, one wedding, and a grandson just to mention a few landmarks.
Perhaps I am one of the few that have stopped long enough to revisit and reflect on what is really taking place.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are ending another decade.
Would you slow down and really think about your life.
Ponder on who you were, where you were and all that has passed.
Ensure you leave this year in wellness, not fainting.
Tell those you love and care for how you feel.
Make time for family and friends.
Celebrate all your wins.
Cry over your losses.
Write your plans, and dream bigger.
Allow yourself the freedom to really live and enjoy it.
Be cautious not to take the next 29 days for granted.
Today is your gift, use it well.
