Over the years, I have experienced the death of people, dreams and lost of things.
No one can properly prepare for grief but it is a natural part of life.
A major lesson I learned was to allow myself the time to feel things deeply and release it.
There are many emotions attached to grieving.
In one day a person can go from happy, to sad to angry.
It is important to surround yourself with people who love you and will allow you the freedom of expression without judging.
Give yourself permission to be at the top of the list, and really care for you.
Release a timeline to recovery and take one day at a time.
Remember the goal is to heal, be restored and put healthy habits in place for the future.
Everyone grieves differently so do not compare yourself to others and don’t allow anyone to compare you either.
Breathe. Release. Repeat.
