I headed out to walk my three miles and felt extremely excited to be in the sun.
Picked my music, placed my earpiece in and hit play.
As soon as the song started playing I was in my happy place, singing out loud and walking fast.
If you looked out your window you may even catch me dancing a little.
Then this impulse came on me to run so I did.
With a landmark in view, I set the goal where I would stop.
This was my first time running in a long time.
As a kept the pace and breathing rhythm I made it.
I repeated this for the remainder of the time, doing walk and run intervals.
As I ran home, I couldn’t physically see the landmark but I could mentally see it.
Yes, I had done it and was feeling good.
Here is the best part I want to share with you, I had the capacity to run because I believed I could.
The one thought that kept me running was my can do this thinking.
You and I have the ability to do incredible things if we believe we can.
During the three miles, no interference of negative self-talk came up, just positive affirmation that this was doable.
Today just for fun think about one thing you have not done or perhaps told yourself you would not do again.
Now visualize yourself doing the actions without limitations.
As I ran my body followed my mind.
Where is your mind leading you today?
Happy Tuesday:)
