Another Monday has rolled around and it will be the middle of the month soon.
The clocks went forward on Sunday morning to prepare us for spring.
Today I plan to review the next quarter of this year.
Last Friday I had a real emotional moment, it was my three year anniversary for my skin care business.
A sadness came over me because I worked through everything and did not plan for a small celebration.
Not sure if anyone else has bypassed an important moment and then realized it later?
I was thinking, “what would make me do that?”
Here is what I realized, I did not put my business anniversary on my calendar.
After working hard building my business, I did not schedule a time to celebrate any accomplishments.
Whew what a lesson for me.
All my adult life I have neglected to celebrate small or big wins.
Today I start new.
Today I write into my future celebration moments.
I will incorporate celebration moments each month, quarter, and yearly.
We can work so hard and become blind to what we have accomplished.
This year alone, I have completed some first time things.
This is my slow down day to acknowledge my wins.
Instead of focusing on what I still need to do, I am going to see what has been done.
Here is the other part of the lesson I am learning; no one can celebrate for you.
No one knows what you have achieved because they were not there.
Maybe I am only writing my thoughts out loud for one person who will read this.
If you are the one person reading this, change some things.
Join me in this new place of celebrating small wins, the task completed, producing in excellence and simply pulling it off!!
We must slow down to see all that has been done, along with what we still must do.
