Quick Sand

Has your life been going good, with everything on track and then out of left field the craziest thing takes place?

Most of us can answer yes in a loud voice.

Once we are experiencing this form of uninvited drama we are tempted to review everything.

One major question we may ask is “WHY?”

why-740x493

Why now?

What did I miss?

Why is this happening to me?

How long will things be this way?

Questions need answers.

There are some questions that lead us into a deep dark place.

The “WHY” question can become quick sand if we are careful.

Questions that lead in circles with sadness, hopelessness, and frustration is pulling you down without warning.

From my personal experience, we must ask questions that give us guidance, instructions, and solutions.

Focusing on why this is happening now are thoughts that get you stuck.

When you encounter unexpected life changes, seek not why but how.

Begin to process your feelings.

Become a problem solver.

Look for direction and solutions.

Remind yourself this is temporary.

The timing may be off but has an expiration date.

Do not live your life in the cycle of questions that become quicksandquicksand2.
