Anxious Annie

It comes out of no where.

There is no warning.

Just an intense concern for an upcoming date, change or promotion.

The mind begins to obsess on one thing and one thing alone.

Next we begin to create scenes in our minds about what is about to happen.

Anxiety is defined as a feeling or worry, nervousness and unease.

We can experience disturbance of our peace by being anxious.

The way I see it, we either surrender to the agitation or we find a healthy way to deal with it.

One healthy way to deal with it, is not to ignore what is happening.

Do not minimize the fact that you are facing fear.

Facing fear looks some thing like this; instead of cowering and hiding do the things that fear says you can not.

When anxious has your heart beating fast, find a center place where your thoughts are surrounded my positive, good, and pleasurable things.

Get out of your head, by speaking honestly with someone you trust.

Personally I have screamed just to release the high level of distress I have encountered.

Some way screaming has helped me with breathing again and even sobering up.

If you are like me and believe in God, do not miss praying.

Praying will also center you to face to fear.

It would be great to think we will never experience those emotions again, but that is a lie.

As long as we are living there will be moments that come in like a flood, getting us worked up over things we can not control.

You and I may not be able to control all situations in life, but we certainly can choose not to live in fear.

Why be anxious, or worried sick about a day that has not happened.

Quit now paying time to the unseen things that may never come to pass.

Begin to realign your faith, your hope and your peace.

Do not give anxious more of your time, or tranquility.
