Who remembers eating cabbage and corned beef growing up?
Some may still eat it.
Count me in on eating it growing up, but I have not eaten it in over twenty years.
If cooked right it is a delicious combination.
I do believe eating it growing up is the reason I love cabbage now.
There is some thing to be said for combinations.
Like a nice pair of jeans and a cute t-shirt.
Oatmeal and raisins make great cookies.
Beans and rice are tasty when eaten together.
When things stand alone they are good, but when combined they can be great.
I find this to be true in life.
Alone you can build a good business, add the right person in the vision and the business shifts to great.
Yes some things are meant to stand alone.
Life it sweeter when we partner with the right people.
We could miss out on growing our vision just by having a closed mind.
Fear keeps us from including things and people who are different from us into our world.
When we choose to stay safe, we also miss out on being expose to certain qualities of life.
Sure everyone is not for our circle, but some are there to challenge us to think bigger!
The way my husband and I see things are the opposite most of the time.
Being human we both thought our way was right, but we learned to respect and grow in our differences.
The blend of sweet and spicy makes for a delicious dish.
Life has both corned beef and cabbage combinations.
They don’t always sound appealing but once you have a taste of it, you see why they blend so well.
What kind of combinations do you have in your life?
Are some of your associates different from those in your small circle of life?
Have you found yourself wanting some thing different but did not know why?
It is a natural desire for us to seek out new adventures in life.
Just because some things do not sound like they go together doesn’t mean you should not try it.
Who would have thought broccoli would go so well with shrimp?
Or peanut butter and apple.
Like I said before every blend is not yours, but there is a mix in life that works for you.
What ever you do be open to new places, people and things.
You may discover a life that is more savory!
