Everyone is not a morning person.
Some people need to have a cup of coffee to get their morning going.
Others may be like me and love to have a cup of tea.
Most mornings you will find me putting on water to make a cup of tea, ready to meet my day.
It is funny how a routine can be easily formed in life, that is becomes automatic.
Even those close to us eventually learn our routines.
In order to have success, and reach our goals we must have a schedule.
We also need a routine in our daily life.
When my children were younger, I had to set routines for eating, nap times, reading etc.
Without some form of routine in life we do things improptu. Not knowing day to day what we will accomplish.
I am a firm believer in order.
Everything in life has an order.
Once we discover our order of life, things begin to balance out.
Just like coffee or tea helps to balance us out in the morning (at least I think it does:)
Balance really is achieved by our order and routines.
Our ability to make a schedule and stick to it, helps us in our steps to achieving things.
When seasons in life change we must find a new routine that works, but we don’t have to eliminate everything.
Keep in your life things that you know are proven and worked all your life.
Adjust what needs adjusting.
Add what will work for now, and give yourself room to discover the new routine for your life.
Just because your made tea at 7am in the morning for the past ten years, doesn’t mean it will work in the next year.
You may have to make your tea at 6am now that life has shifted.
A routine is necessary for your peace of mind.
Pause long enough to investigate where you are in life, and rearrange things as needed.
Make sure you make a cup of tea (or coffee) as you sit and think!
