Being consistent takes discipline, commitment, time and accountability.
My question today is what does consistent look like in your life?
Is it something that you do every day, that makes you consistent?
Would being the person that always shows up no matter what make you consistent?
How about being the one who does the work or assignment on time make you consistent.?
The reason for these questions is simple!
We beat ourself up at times for being inconsistent in areas of our life, but that may not be true.
When I look deep into consistent, some of what I mentioned already would be included.
How about consistent being the principles we live our life by.
My children can count on me to be there for them even if we are not physically together, and that makes me consistent.
In our marriage of almost 29 years I have been faithful to my husband. Faithful to respect and honor the marriage as well as my husband. Now don’t get me wrong I haven’t been perfect lol
Our every day way we live is our consistent believe system.
Good, Bad, and Indifferent.
I use to think consistent is doing the same things all the time and if I was unable, it would make me feel like I had failed.
The lesson I have learned is simple, some things are routine while others are consistent.
Remember consistent is not just doing the same thing, but also being unchanging in nature as well as stable.
Those who has allowed stress to over take them due to feelings of failure take a deep breath.
It may be your routine you need to work on not just being consistent
I would love to hear from you.
How do you define consistent?
