cherish time

As I close out this day, I am reminded that nothing is guaranteed in life.

We wake up with the intentions to produce, finish our list of things, meet the needs of those in our life and hopefully find time for ourself.

One day something unexpected happens and we are faced with how quickly things can change in time. The sudden lost of a job, relationship, marriage, or even love one brings our life to a stop. All the things that appeared to be important now has less priorities. We begin to slow down, revisit schedules, cancel calendar dates, and even examine who is important to us.

Time has offered us a gift to make memories, learn how to let go of things quickly that burdens us, identify toxic relationships as well as laughing at our own mistakes!

Each day we are given should not be used to live in misery, drown from sorrow, or feed on regrets. The hours we have are precious and priceless. The minutes go by so fast in an hour, we begin repeat this saying, “time seems to be flying by.”

We are not able to control everything but we can reevaluate what we will invest in.

There may be lost, promotions, death, graduations or even divorce that comes into your life. Choose to deal with the different seasons and times in their proper perspective. Cry if needed. Laugh as much as possible. Forgive those who hurt you. Forgive yourself for dumb mistakes. Go back to school and empower yourself. Teach people how to treat you. Take care of yourself. Release polluted relationships. Trust again.

Cherish time…make wise decisions to not waste what you have been given.
